Our HEX firepits are extremely strong and well made.
The design uses 4mm mild steel which is lasercut, and fully welded in raw steel. We do not paint these fire pits as the steel develops a layer of rust over time that looks fantastic and seals in the metal.
The unit is designed so that when the firepit is not used for long periods of time it can be easily laid on it’s side which stops water from sitting.
Unlike many other designs of firepit, I have designed this to draw air in under the fire through ventilation in the lower section of the firepit and a lasercut grid which the wood sits on.
Cleaning is simple with the HEX-T firepit, ash collects on a plate below the main firewood grid and can be blown, brushed or hosed out easily.

Now available with a lid, the lid is made from 2mm steel unfinished to rust like the rest of the firepit. There are 2 handles on the lid on opposite sides which are marine grade 8mm diameter paracord in black (other colours available on request) which is comfortable to hold and will weather well, but more importantly can be replaced if the need arises.
